Grenada Lake is a reservoir on the Yalobusha River Mississippi. The lake was constructed and is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The lake was originally constructed to help control flooding along the Yazoo River Basin.
Grenada Lake has attracted a number of visitors to it's shore. Visitors enjoy water-based and other outdoor recreational activities. The lake also hosts several fishing tournaments annually. Hugh White State Park and are located near the lake and provide facilities for recreational activities. There are many other campgrounds located around the lake. The Dogwoods Golf Course is also located near Grenada lake. The golf course is well known as one of the best course in the southeast. |
